I’m am interested in starting to get my private pilots license and I am looking for information about your program. I am local and am curious about the process for accumulating the required 40+ hours with a CFI. I will generally be available only on weekends to fly because I work a full time job.

Naturally, the answer is

it depends!

Based on national averages, it takes between 50 and 70 hours of training, so with aircraft rental and instructor time, it will be about $15,000. Your time/cost may vary! If you can put more hours against training, if you can commit to 4-5 days per week of training time you will save money because of the concentrated nature of your training time.
